Cell phone usage after school

Parents,

I want you to be aware of what I have shared with the students and faculty regarding cell phones, ipod, and other electronic devices after school.

I have asked that no cell phones or electronic devices be used by students without permission from a teacher until students have been picked up. 

The reason for this is that students begin texting, sharing music, or calling people when they are to be preparing to go home or do their schoolwork after school.  We have almost no way to monitor the use of these devices if everyone is allowed to use them from 3:00pm on.  Therefore, their use will depend upon when the student leaves for home.
